When on the hCG diet, fish is one of the healthiest and most delicious protein you can ever eat. This is because fish not only has a few calories but it is also packed with a lot of nutrition. Heck, fish is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids that can help you become healthy.

Salmon can be eaten with just a simple dash of salt and pepper. But, did you know that you can enliven this dish up with some Maple Syrup?

Maple syrup is commonly used on pancakes but we’re not going to make pancakes today. We are going to make a delicious Salmon dinner that makes use of the Maple Syrup.

I promise you, this dish will make you love Salmon (if you do not like Salmon before I shared this recipe).

So, without further delay, here are all the ingredients that you will need in order to cook the hCG Diet Maple Salmon:

  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp garlic salt
  • 1/8 Tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 lb of Salmon

Directions:

  1. Get a small bowl and mix the maple syrup, garlic, garlic salt, soy sauce, and black pepper. If you cannot find garlic salt in the stores near you, you can crush a clove of garlic and mix the salt with it.
  2. Get a shallow baking dish and place the Salmon on it. Pour the maple syrup mixture on top of the Salmon, making sure that the Salmon is well coated with the maple syrup mixture.
  3. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and allow it to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  5. Place the baking dish in the oven and allow it to bake for 20 minutes or until the fork can flake it. Serve and Enjoy!

This dish can take up to an hour to prepare and cook everything. Although it is a lot of time for some, I promise you that this dish is absolutely worth it.

This dish can make four servings and each serving contains 220 calories. Because this dish contains a lot of calories, this Salmon recipe can only be eaten on while on phase 3 of phase 4 of the hCG diet.

Just a little side note about the garlic salt. Some of you may have probably not known of this ingredient before. Garlic salt is common in Asian stores who sells spices.

If you cannot find one in your local supermarket, try visiting Asian specialty shops near you. If you still cannot find one, there is an alternative.

Get a mortar and pestle and put some salt on it (the amount of salt you want to convert to garlic salt is up to you). Get a clove of garlic and start to crush it along with the salt. And, there you have it.
